This Privacy Policy explains how Mile High Multilingual Services (“MHMS”, “we”, “us”) handles the information associated with the MHMS Interpreter app. The app is a tool for the independent contractors (interpreters) who provide interpretation services for MHMS, and is used to manage assignments, scheduling, and availability.

Who the account belongs to

Accounts in this app are created in the context of, and exclusively for the purpose of, the independent contractor relationship between MHMS and the interpreter. An account exists to administer that working relationship — it is not a consumer account and is not used for any purpose outside of that contractual relationship.

Where your data is stored

Account and assignment data is stored exclusively with Mile High Multilingual Services, in the systems MHMS uses to operate its interpretation services. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.

What we process

To operate the app and administer assignments, we process information such as:

  • Your name and contact details as an MHMS interpreter.
  • Assignment, scheduling, and availability information.
  • Check-in / check-out records and the signatures captured at the start and end of an appointment.
  • Approximate device location, used only to show distance and travel time to your next session. Location is used on your device and is not tracked in the background.

How we use it

The information above is used solely to coordinate interpretation assignments between you and MHMS — confirming appointments, recording completion, managing your availability, and meeting the record-keeping obligations that arise from the contractual relationship.

Retention

Data is retained for as long as it is needed to support the contractual relationship and to satisfy applicable legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. See Account Deletion for how to request deletion.
